What I scored at the Blade Show!

My opinion is likely invalid since it was my first blade & am a fan of a good ole fashion death metal show :D but must say, I was dead center in the madness at every offering and it was IMO far from out of hand. My ole lady was also there and never once blinked. Yeah she got shoved(not intentionally), card ripped from hand(guy gave it back once he got out of manly mode), and her ta's even grabbed by a hog when a tag hit em (:thumbup:) but Overall, I thought there was great camaraderie and very helpful people/strangers. Was a super awesome experience and Ill be damned if I ever miss another one. Thanks busse combat for a helluva great time

I agree, I saw lots of people who were fortunate enough to grab the envelopes, help out those who weren't so lucky. Thanks Joe for hooking me up on a special Busse! And sorry Knifehunter for the bump on the head.:o

It was great to meet some new friends as well as see some old one's again. I plan on being there again next year too

Agree totally. Was my first Blade show but was an awesome experience. Will be back for more next year. I think overall everyone was having a great time. Glad to have met everyone and look forward to more fun and beers in the future!

What Deric is saying is right. There was some friendly stuff going on but not elbows swinging. The story I heard was that Jaxx got head butted when a guy jumped up and back to grab a tag. It was a total accident. I do think that if Busse is going to throw these things, they need to be soft like a bean bag, not hard cardboard like a guided missle. And using something soft it would make it less likely to bounce off of hands and a lot easier to catch. Overall, still a great experience. This was my 10th Blade Show and they only keep getting better!!!

I should expand on this a bit... ronybear is right. It was an accident, a fluke, just a bit of bad luck on my part. A good friend of mine, Bill (VoxHog was tracking a thrown tag, and I was right behind him. The back of his head made contact with my left temple and left me rather dazed... He wasn't even aware! :o Luckily, I was watching the previous tag in flight, so it was my temple rather than my nose. It would have been truly embarrassing to have my schnoz broken at the Trough... ;) ...But I stress that it was purely an accident. Great fun, but after this, I had decided to bow out and just watch the fun from a distance. :o
