Maybe nobody cares and I must say I love ESEE's products. I have the RC-3MIL, and RC-6 and an Izula with scales. Love the knives, love the handle materials, a satisfied customer.
But I like to dream so here goes.
I'd buy an ESEE dedicated bushcraft knife with a scandi grind having less of a drop point than the regular RC models. Let's say with a 4.25" blade and a canvas micarta handle...Orange G10 too. I would coat only the flat portion of the blade and not the bevel. 1095 of course.
I'd buy an ESEE "RC-5 light", a flat ground, thinner version splitting the difference between the RC-4 and the RC-6. The RC-5 is really more of a downed pilot's knife by design rather than a woods knife.
So that's what I think anyway. Regardless, the RC-4 is on my wish list even if ESEE never ever changed a thing and so to would an RC-5, as is, someday.
