What I'd buy if ESEE made.

I dunno - .188" thick, full size handle, deep belly -- sounds a lot like a choil-less TAK...
(so yeah, I'd be all for that)
pair of unlined, 10" tall, panama soled, boots with extra wide toe box? good to go as well!

I'd like a pair of ESEE/DPX boots. Just about one of the most essential bits of kit a chap can have, some nice ones already out there but...
Something non tactical looking..

I just got a pair of OTB Bootistans for this very reason. Made in China = boo.

DPX Hard-use boots, made in USA would be a complete win, but perhaps not price competitive with all the chinaware floating around the market.

4" blade length - from tip to the front of the handle
rounded canvas micarta 3/8" thick fully covering the exposed tang
Spine will be squared for striking a firesteel
Uncoated 1095 steel
scandi or flat
tip of blade inline with handle.

^^^ this ftw

what reddawn said, a 7 or 8 inch that is no thicker than the 6. would suit me if there were no choil or a very small choil

Ok so way off but I sure do like me a nice AXE? Maybe something big blade, light, strong handle and bad-arse, about 18-22" total. Like the TOPS Fast AXE but heavy, some kinda mix between the MORA/TOPS the ESEE's "Bushbeater"! That's mine.

I'd actually just like some other blade/handle color options on the ESEE-6. Basically what's available in the 3 or 4 line, but in the 6!

Oh this would be soooo perfect. Kinda like a ESEE interpretation of the Kephart with a scandi. Hopefully you could work something out with a place like JRE to sell it with a "bushy" kind of leather sheath too. I'd have to get a couple because I love this style of knives for their "old time" look and feel and on top of that I'm a RAT (ESEE) packer for life.

make a bushcrafter in 1095 and some won't buy it because it's not 01.

and most of the bushcraft blades have a spear point so that the point is on the centerline and they drill easily. eliminate the drop and it probably won't be so good for drilling.

with the good fit of the scales on all the other knives, there's no need to inset the tang like on the machete. the tang can still be exposed all around, and perhaps an extended tang like a Terrasaur.

btw, look at the overall lines of the 4. the tip is on the centerline.

but y'all may be missing the one product that might be available now, which would be an ESSE K9. doesn't Jeff breed GSDs? put an orange collar and leash on the pup and you're GTG. (don't forget training)

if i'm wrong about the dogs, blame Wikipedia. whups, not Wiki. i must have read that someplace else.... and i could be all wrong.
