What if your right hand (strong) was pinned?

Very witty, but a Sanitation Engineer has no engineering degree, nor has a Clear Wall Technician been certified by the Technical Society of Clear Walls. A Bail Enforcement Officer has some certification, and substantially more _Real_ power than a police officer. A BEO can enter your house without a warrant, arrest you, and carry you over state lines. And, if it turns out he arrested the wrong person, you have less recourse against him than you do against a regular police officer. They are holdovers from a time gone by, as are many of our laws, and usually are not a problem for your law-abiding person. A good, straight shooting Bounty Hunter can make a good living hunting human prey, and will be a boon to the rest of society. A bad bounty hunter can have a lot of fun and be a menace to the rest of us. Ponder that the next time a Police Officer confiscates an illegal blade of yours. If it had been a BEO who had misidentified you as one of his 'clients', you would be cuffed and maybe gagged, in the back of a car, headed to wherever your lookalike jumped his bail.

I have two law offices between which I divide my time.

In both of them I have my office kit - a surefire or scorpion flashlight and an Endura - all in the drawer of my desk.

as I always carry a folder IWB on my right - the drawer is the one on my left.

but no doubt - a folder on each side is the way to go. (and a gun on each side for that matter)

and a baton.

and some spray.

and don't forget the ....

you get the drift.
