I just got a 192 Vanguard with the rosewood and champagne IonFusion and I think this is one heck of a knife. I especially like the handle. So, I started thinking… this handle would be a great shape for a folder with a big-fat, flat-ground, drop-point blade.

I scanned the pic in the 2001 catalogue and doctored it a little bit. I do not yet have the skill to make one, so I cooked one up in Photoshop.

What do you guys think?

Hey, that's a pretty good idea! Also good work on your "manipulation". Thanks.

Jeff,

I wish I had an imagination like yours. Not a bad idea! Thanks for posting the pic.

The only folder I know of with that type blade is the Boker. I have a "3000" in 440c with green bone handles. Don't get me wrong, I love my Bucks! I'm anxiously awaiting a custom 110 w/finger grooved stag and BG-42.
