Here are a few pics of a knife I'm working on...mostly to let everyone know I'm still alive and kicking. My new shop is FINALLY up and running, it's great stopping by for some forging :).

8"x1.85" O1/L6, claro, 416ss.

The parts are only pressed together in the photos. I should have some time this weekend to finish this piece.

I agree, that blade is very agressive and looks great.....as does the whole knife.

So, Matt. How is that other "project" that you guys are working on going?

Any time I see your work I have a smile on my face.
We have to talk for some damascus project in the next. :)

Handle and blade shape extremely nice.
Think it's my favorite of yours to date.

Yowzaa! That's a beauty! I love the blade.

Matt,

This one's a real beauty. That blade has the most aggressive, forward leaning look to it, and the handle forms a great balance. Be sure and show the finished picture!

Thanks guys!

I'm working on this knife's brother, a sleeker figther. Both blades were forged from the same billet and both handles from the same block of walnut.

I have some shop time scheduled today, I'm really looking forward to it.

To paraphrase a famous, if fictional, Aussie... "Now THAT'S a knife!!!!!!"

Matt, I may really like the one I got from you a couple of years ago, but this one really is outstanding!

Can't wait to see the fighter version! :D

Sorry so late. :o
Great work, like the blade shape and handle/guard, 01/L6:thumbup:.
Hope you post the fighter too,Matt.

The shape makes it look like a heavy use blade, the style and appearance make it look like a clean keeper piece. What is a man to do with that knife, use it or cherish it?
