What Inlay is this Mnandi?

This might help some. It's his businessto know wood.

Im strongly leaning towards either Lignium vitae or Argentine lignium vitae AKA verawood. The muted colors and lack of heavy grain formation points to one of those woods.
 
Cool sample, the presentation and the lock side look like two different grains. I thought Lignum Vitae when I saw the really fine grain around the pocket clip, but the front piece doesn't look like it has the same tight structure (at least in that image).
The only Ebony I had was so dark I couldn't get an idea of the grain, but I imagine it is probably very dense, too.
