What is a Busse knife worth?

I have an original Steel Heart that I am going to sell. It's from the late 90's, prior to the first Battle Mistress. A-2 steel, smooth micarta, with solid bolts. Used slightly, but the coating is intact.

I have been looking around for a price range, but haven't seen any for sale. I would be pleased to have an idea of it's value.

If this is in the wrong location, please help me find the right forum to post it in.

Thanks for the responses. I haven't responded to any PMs because out of the 10 or so immediate responses, only two offered any information on value.

I am continuing my research on that, and when complete I will begin contacting those who wrote that they wanted to buy it, in the order I received them.

I hope this is in keeping with the protocol of this forum. If it is not, I would appreciate a moderator contacting me with how to progress from here.

Don't discount the price too much for all the HOGs. After all, they aren't lining up for nothing. You have a great knife and they want it.

Do a little research, talk to a bunch of folks, decide what price will make YOU happy, and the HOG who eventually gets it will certainly be happy too (or else they wouldn't buy it, would they?). Win-win all the way around. :thumbup:

Try clicking on "User CP" on the blue horzontal bar up top, then click on group memberships down the left side... if given the choice click platinum if available, then your colors should show true... Platinum. :thumbup:

Why does it look so long? Blade shape looks different also. Slotted fasteners...ya know, it could be INFI. Does he know the birthdate?

Althogh...that looks like an Eagle sheath, and I believe they were used during the A2 era. Smooth micarta? Hmmmm, also a good sign of A2. Any dimples?
