What is best handle material for sweaty hands?

Rough G10, like on Emersons is great; canvas micarta as well...

That G10 that Cold Steel uses has some serious grip potential!

I handled some knives last year at Blade Show that used recycled rubber as the handle material. I have no idea what company it was but they had a nice Parang as well. That would be excellent for sweaty hands. Other than that, rough G-10 or Micarta

My wife has hands that sweat so bad she has to use air cooled controllers for video games and she has no issues with the Benchmade Mini Grip with the Glass fille nylon handles, she really like them as opposed to a swiss army knife with the smooth plastic she tried whittling with and it kept slpping.

Cold Steel uses Kraton and Bussekin use Resiprene. I forget the name of the rubbery material Fallkniven uses, but it is also a pretty non-slip grip, excellent for choppers since it absorbs shock.

Look at handle shapes, too. Straight handles slip while palm swells grip, as do finger choils.

Off topic, but google it, she can likely decrease it via a diet change/modification. I want to say consuming lots of coffee or caffeine can be a contributor, I've experienced it myself.

I've not used micarta, but the FRN on my Delica seems alright. I think handle shape may also be a contributor, but I find the G10 on my PM2 incredibly slippery at times.

The Kraton on my Cold Steel Tanto Lite takes some beating for the grip but if you can sacrifice a bit of grip then the canvas Micarta roughed up is much better looking, in my opinion anyway.

This ^ Contour is way more important than material for secure grip.

I'd rather have a glass-smooth polished G10 handle that is contoured, than a flat handle covered with skateboard grip tape.

Horse stall mat and other rubber based handles are very grippy even when wet. Don't rule out stag either as it was used as handle material long ago because of its ability to be securely gripped when covered in blood from battle. Some folks like using hockey tape on handles too.

G10 has been good. However... *** not all g10 has been created equally. For instance, my spyderco persistence/Byrd grade g10 is much less grippy than say -- the great grippy ness of cold steel, Emersons, or a kershaw piston...***
