What is G10?

G-10 is good stuff in my book, and I am not going to repeat everything that has already been said.

As far as the grippyness of it, it is very grippy when textured right, but it can be polished to be completely slick. Buy some G10 scale material from Knife kits and you can see what I mean.
 
Doesn't Microtech make a UT6 that is completely carbon fiber?

Might have been one of there customs / one of a kind, but I am sure I saw it somewhere.
 
I like that it doesn't "feel" cheap like 99% of FRN handled knives do.

Steel liners and overall strength not withstanding, FRN almost always has a low-rent feel to it. Not a value to me personally, but I understand where it has its place.
