+1. It's Busse's proprietary steel, and its composition is a trade secret.

Although I don't have it laying about, the composition isn't a secret -- I've seen it posted in the Busse Forum several times.

Now the heat treatment ... that's proprietary.:)

V 0.36% Vanadium
Cr 8.25% Chrome
Fe 87.79% Iron
Co 0.95% Cobalt
Ni 0.74% Nickel
Mo 1.3% Molybdenum
C 0.5% Carbon
N 0.11% Nitrogen

i think this is infi...........................:D

it is a proprietary steel though.

op-go to the busse subforum. read the stickies and follow the links. study up. any further inqueries can be better answered in that subforum.

just don't drink the koolaid!!!

Busse produce a bunch of knives with anti-ergonomics handles.

Use these without gloves & you'll regret it.

A lot of their knives are sharpened pry bar,

Most of their Knives don't have a pointy point & don't cut like a knife...should we consider these knives?

A lot of their knives are too heavy to carry on a belt.

Nearly all their knives don't have a really sharp edge from the factory. If i paid $350 for a knife i want it to cut.

Their marketing tricks are easily recognisable & disgusting.

Oh, a troll. . . how droll.
