What is it about Busse that makes you want to..

Why recommend Busse?
For several reasons.

1.) One of the few knives that actually live up to the hype. If you really want a knife that will hold up to that mother-of-all-survival-scenarios we love to talk about, Busse is it.
2.) The warranty. Can't beat it.
3.) The usability. The handles (particularly the mags) fit my hands very well and although the patterns are pretty on the machined handles, they also provide a great grip. The steel is flexible, easy to sharpen and holds an edge well.
4.) Is one of the few brands of knife that look cool and yet actually work.
5.) I have a perverse pleasure in getting them all hyped up and then watch them pale when they see the price.

Yep, I just started a thread on AR15.com about Busse and then in a different post someone said they had about $250 to spend on a machete. I told them about the new Bushwhacker coming out and said Buy Busse once and never regret again!

I'm typically known with all my friends as the unpaid salesman for any company that sets a standard in excellence...
I got so tired over the years of not making any money and only to buy crap that didn't work well that I've become mildly obsessed with talent, customer service and a products that actually work!!!
Busse fits the mold of excellence perfectly...
BTW I've tried to instill this mindset into my son, and so far with his hard work he's getting results..

I always go back to the old question about, "You can talk the talk, but can you walk the walk?"
With Busse knife, YES IT DOES AND YES YOU CAN. All the way down to the service from the company, it just isn't any better.

Nate, looking what you did to my knife, all I can say is I wish I sent it sooner! Can't wait to get it back.

Welcome to the insanity Porknoodle !

LOL

Some day i'll get me a pig name, I don't have enough money to own a closet full of Busses, but I will clearcut a red wood Forrest with a Battle Mistress eventually. :D

This is exactly why you recommend it. Well said CP.

Unfortunately, I cannot seem to stop at "recommending" them to friends and family, and have developed a habit of giving them out as gifts every year. Not gonna tell you how much I spend doing it either.

I bought my first Busse a couple of years back, a tan canvas bad warden from a local gun shop that had more knives than guns. Carried it every day in town, but always took my Emersons into the field to work.

After some problems with my newest Emerson, I said that's it, I need a new fixed blade for work. Thought about how much I liked my bad warden and fired "Busse" into Google....

Now every time a new one "shows up" at the house the girlfriend says "are you going to sharpen that one are you?" Thinking it's like collecting comic books and they should be sealed away in mint condition for resale, not taken out and worked hard. HaHa!
