What is it?

Eagle Brand knives were imported by Parker and that Fukuta guy was the Japanese designer. These knives while not being very desirable/rare are very well made. I have a stockman by Eagle that is tighter than any US made slipjoint I own and it's from the early 80's and been used a ton. Not sure what the steel is but these were absolutely quality knives and there is nothing cheap about them. Nice piece, I have never seen that model before.

If it's truly hand-made by Tak Fukuta, it should be worth more than a little. He's a well-know custom knife maker, these days, and as an early representation of his work, it should have some value. Of course, I am no expert, so what I think is not worth much on this subject.

Maybe post this over in Bernard Levine's forum. Just don't ask about the value, or rarity, and you might be okay.;)
