What is one fold and fixed blade everyone should have, knife person or not?

I have been into knives since I was young and a lot of models have been in my pockets and strapped to my belts. With all things considered (price, value, materials) what is one folder and fixed blade everyone should have. My vote for the folder is the Spyderco Delica 4 FFG because it is very light (2.5 oz), its steel is easy to care for (VG-10 stainless), it holds a great edge, comes in a few colors (Brown, blue, black, purple, grey), has a movable clip, solid lock up, and feels great in the hand. My vote for a fixed blade would be an Esee 4 probably. The reason I say probably is for the smallish handle size. Both I think are a great value and would serve anyone very well.

Given the extreme bang for your buck, everybody should own at least one Mora and one Opinel..

I'll give my opinion about a knife person, as I have no idea what a non knife person should have, or want.
Sebenza, and a custom fixed blade made to their liking.

Opinions will vary on this one.

Folder: SAK
Fixed: A proper kitchen knife - a lot of people just get by with random knives or junk

I've owned three different CRKT M16 spear point folders.

I'll probably always have one, light, functional knife with a very utilitarian handle and blade. Not costly.

For fixed I'd have to copy the Mora suggestions, they're too inexpensive and perform too well not to have one, at least if you ever camp or need a utility type knife.

Opinal #6 and a mora, probably the most bang for bucks combo out there.

For the knife collector
Sebenza and a busse kin knife.

Buck 110 and a 119. Neither will break the bank, you can find them almost any place you can buy a knife and both will last a lifetime or two. Sure there are smaller, lighter folders and heavier, more tactical fixed blades but when it comes right down to it, if there is something you can't do with one or both of these knives then a knife probably wasn't the tool you needed in the first place.

I sharpened that buck for one of my friends. The handles had sharp edges on the handles that would probably create hot spot; seems like one heck of a knife though, a good no frills type design. I like the second one! ;) It's a little big for me though. I plan to get an 0566 (or a BM Volli) once it comes out; its smaller and cheaper. I really wished it had the sweet machined g10 scales though. I have always wanted a hinderer.

Good choices people. I have never been a huge fan of Sebenzas, they arent worth it to me but I don't doubt their fit and finish and materials. I havent had a Mora or Opinel but probably will buy a few one of these days. I have had plenty of SAKs my favorite is probably the Ranger. It has just about everything without being to big.

BUDGET

When I saw the pictures of the mora on amazon, the black and blue looked kind of harsh, but in real life they look nice and the handle is superrr comfortable in my big hands with a little room to spare, really grippy when dry too because of the rubber coating.
