Saw it brought up in another thread. Went to the site. Amazing. How does that work? Is this like a custom shop division at Buck?

If you are talking about SK Blades then they are just a smaller dealer who focuses on Buck knives and orders several dealer exclusives a year. The cool thing is they usually have polls in the Buck subforum to see what people want. SK Knives appears to be a custom maker who does some collaborations with manufacturers and other makers.

Right on, edited the title.

Wow, crazy. Very cool. I saw the different handle scales and steels and I didn't understand how they still had the full warranty. These really seem under the rader.

Micarta and 20cv under $100? Very nice.

I’ve only ordered once due to just finding out about SK Blades, but will vouch for ease of ordering, quality packaging and shipping, investigative feedback for future models, and interesting and affordable knife offerings. With BUCK’s warranty. Pretty neat stuff.

Definitely will order again.

Wow. Nice.

What do you guys think...the 20cv double bolster vs cpm154 single bolster?

Either way, I'm grabbin one of these.

He is also the one who is facilitating this years forum knife from Buck!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

That’s right I forgot about that. To correct my earlier post I have ordered from him twice. I emailed him about the forum knife and he responded on the same day. That’s good customer service too!

Pretty sure that I bought my Marksman from them. S35VN & OD G10.

I'm slightly hopeful that someday they'll make my ultimate 110: one-handed opening, pocket clip, lightweight (aluminum or titanium) bolsters, and CF scales. If anyone can do it, it's SK. Unfortunately, every time they make a poll in the Buck subforum the Buck fans end up voting for a standard Buck. :p

I saw that when I went back. Big size difference indeed. I only own a couple Bucks, might have to add both of these. :)
I’m not usually a small knife fan but the 501 actually looks and feels a lot bigger than it is. I got the SK Blades version and it is really nice.

I always wanted to try a bos heat treated s35vn... I'm curious if it's a step above other s35vn ht? - if they pull off the improvement they do with 420hc, it should be outstanding

I don't sense much difference. :/

Just received my 501BRSSK-B. (sorry, I can't post pics. See post #40 in thin gentleman's knife thread Page 4 or 5 GD). Beautiful! :D Quickly shipped, good communication (not a lot, but quite sufficient), VERY pleased with my first order from them. I think I'm in trouble.

yep. most of the buck regulars dont like modern and convenient stuff:) like pocket clips and thumb studs on their 110s and other older models. I'm the exception to that.

skblades is a solid dealer. bought many bucks from him. he brings custom stuff upgrade steels and materials for less than buck custom can or will.
