what is Solingen stainless steel

I bought a copperliner the other day and i can't find what steel the blade is.

Should be German WN 1.4034 Steel, an alloy much like 420 Stainless.

Thanks, I thought it might be 4034 because some of the other knife are but I just had to know for sure.

You mean "similar to 420HC".
