300...Thanks for bringing that thread up, a very interesting read..Another little known fact is that SIKA (cervus nippon) are 1st cousins to your ELK, we call them Wapiti...The ELK bugle is the same as SIKA roar but in reverse..A fantastic sound when you are up close....I am the custodian of my mentors SIKA head..This was shot in 1957 and is the most symmetrical world class head ever shot..1/8 of an inch off perfect.Any deer hunter will tell you that nature do,s not do this often..It is a stunning head (3rd headskin)...We measure our heads by the DOUGLAS system..A much harsher system for scoring but we believe fairer...
