Means it was originally owned by the member of the Collectors Club who has/had 102 as their number, and that is is a Variant of the ATR. Only one version of a given model gets the number with no "V" suffix, any and all others are considered variations. In the case of of the Atlantic Salts pictured below, the SE Black one at the bottom was the "main" version, the other three were all variations...

There's a more thorough explanation here. The effect of the number on value is questionable. Some feel it increases it, since it designates early production for that particular variation. Others just see it as one more bit of crap on the blade.

I am not sure, there has been a collector with that number, or if there was, he/she canceled his/her subscription quite a while ago. I have a Yojimbo with the number 102, and I got it directly from the dealer (I preordered it very early on). I believe the first soandso many of the first run are numbered, not just those that go to collectors, though collectors always get the same number. Just my guess though.

Could be that the dealer is the "owner" of that number...

I know a dealer that owns three collector numbers. The bulk of my collector numbered Spydercos bear them.

Yep. A number of dealers have several CC numbers. That way, they are certain to receive a few pieces of each new model/variant/Sprint Run, even if there aren't enough to go around. Some dealers will also allow the CC members they service to opt out of buying knives they don't want, so the dealer may have an extra numbered piece to sell from time to time.
