What is the best Busse handle material for hard use?

Starting out with just the raw material - Linen which is woven Flax fiber is much stronger than Canvas which is made from Cotton fiber.
Once both are saturated and impregnated with resin I don't think it would make much difference though.
 
I prefer canvas micarta for my really hard use tools, however for my knives I use to cook and clean game with I prefer G10 since it doesnt absorb blood or other fluids.
