What is the best customer service you have ever witnessed????

This is a great thread!

It good to see that there are good companies out there that care about customers

I once bought some boots at the LLBean store. They weren't made by Bean's and wore out in just a couple of months. For what I paid for them, I wasn't too impressed, so I took them back and explained. They said 'no problem,' replaced them, and since the replacements were on sale they handed me the price difference in cash. Not bad at all.

I have done business with many knifemaking supply companies over the years but probably the best one was Crucible, in the person of Bruce DiVita. He really goes out of his way to help you with an order.
Unrelated to knives, we used to work with a company that sells cheap pens under their brand name, EURO. A customer´s pen stopped working and I asked for repair. The person on the phone asked me to send the pen back and they would take care of the problem. On the next day, I was still packing the pen when I got a new one in the mail. Enough said, I think.

The best service I have received in quite a while is from Gene Martin. I ordered several sets of stabilized scales from him, and he had them in the mail that day, even before he received the check! I got the scales 2 or 3 days later.Gene sent them priority mail, too. Even better, they were the best deal I have had in years, the price and quality. Thanks, Gene!

Rob Frink should be on the list. When I first got my KMG, I mentioned the tracking knob was round and lacked some tactle feedback and slipped with wet fingers (from dunking). He sent a different knob. After awhile, he modified his slack arm attachment to a slot so it could move at infinite angles instead of fixed bolt holes. I liked it so I asked what he would charge to get mine done that way. He swaped for a slotted one with me, just pay freight on it. Last, my 9" disc broke it's weld at the mount (his 9" disc's are now one milled piece). He replaced it no charge. Rob Frink deserves every one's business.

For me it's R.B. Johnson for folder supplies and Pops for belts. These guys ship fast, take care of their business and are just plain old nice guys.
MSC is another, for a very large company I get great customer service from them.

I have a Parasound stero amp, the on off switch has some parts in it that prevent a blast of power when it is turned on. My 3 year old son turned it on and off a zillion times, when we were not looking and broke it. I e mailed parasound to ask if I could buy a new switch and they mailed me a new switch for free at their cost, nice.
Cheers Ron

Rob Frink gets my vote too. My wife bought me a KMG last month for my BD, and within just a couple of days it was delivered! I also bought a disc from him and it has made all the difference in getting materials flat.

Excellent products and service!!
