Not Ivory soap. 99 and 44/100% pure soap... Uou missed the commercials, cause you're not an old geezer like me.
No other soaps or detergents are truly film free.
We had an air measurememt piston/cylinder that had to be absolutey oil free, so it was Ivory and distilled water time, followed by 190 proof ethanol to remove the water.
 
I recomend M.E.K. Methyl Ethyl Keytone....Not sure if you can get it, its pretty nasty stuff as far as toxicity but it cleans extremely well and leaves NO residue what so ever. Cheers, Art
