Hi, I took a guess and bought a quart of number 94 solution from IMG to improve the performance of my etching . I AM USING A PERSONALZER PLUS and stencils from Marking methods and TUS. I could have selected number 35 or SC-44 solutions for stainless steel but didn't know which you guys were haVING SUCCESS WITH. I only grind 440c, cpm154, 154cm, and Ats-34 stainless steels. Thanks for any advice. Is 16 volts about right for marking a cri:confused:sp trademark? Larry Lehman

I have been using a quart bottle of IMG "Electrolyte 94" for years on both stainless and carbon.

Nothing but great etches using my home made etcher.

Don't know if they still make the 94 or not.

I give a small bottle of 110a with my etchers, mainly because it is supposed to be slightly better at stainless. While I will attest that either are much better than salt or TSP, I don't know that you could tell much difference between 110 and 94. I didn't see any difference when I tested them side by side last August.
