What is the best new knife for 2012 ?

I haven't had time to get on the forum for many months now :(, work, kids, an so on. I have time now and have noticed quite a few threads on new knives for 2012.

My time these days being limited, I thought I would ask all of you what you think is one of the top new knives of 2012.

Any knife, any manufacture, of coarse my preference of new knives would be fixed blade used for camping, hiking, fishing, and so on. But would love to hear what you guys think is noteworthy for 2012. Thanks, hope you guys come up with some I can check out and see if there will be any new purchases in the near future for me.:D

I defiantly like the looks of that. Love the blade design, only thing missing for me would be a little re curve in the blade, non the less it's something I will check out, Thanks. Keep them coming....

New BK&T been waiting on it for months...not sure what they have officially named it though.

I agree!!!! For a mass-manufactured blade, it's looking like the #1 i'd choose (aside from the knife Mr. Breeden is making for me!!!).

I believe BK&T is calling it the BK16..... I was reading on the Becker Forum and lotsa discussion/anticipation about their upcoming releases (nick named the 'tweeners i think).

Cool, thanks. Yep lots of anticipation! I have "visited" the proto at Ethan's a couple of times and have been impatiently waiting on the release for years...umm...I mean months, it just seems like years :)

Saber grind 3/16 I think with a 4.5 or so inch blade. I can't wait to get my hands on one or three of them.
 
For me, I think all my money on blades will go to Condor this year. Possibly one of the Beckers as well. (I'd post which Condor, but I like pretty much all of them)

I really like the look of that knife, i'm having a hard time deciding between that one and the new BK-16.

Does anyone know the thickness on the Buck / Ron Hood punk?
 
I like Camillus's US built bullnosed bushcrafter alot. Of course the entire Condor line, the Benchmade Adamas, the new Beckers... still waiting on Kabar's new catalog...
