What is the biggest tree or log you have cut with your Busse or Bussekin?

took me about 12 minutes or so. Old seasoned oak that had been down for a few years.

This experience with the NMFBM has shown me that a big knife can chop every bit as well as an axe.

You guys are starting to make me look bad. I have got to find a huge tree to cut down. I know my B11 is up for it. I just don't know if I am. LOL

I notice that many of the tree cut pics posted show a very narrow cut. Various sources suggest that the cut should be as wide as the log is thick. This is more efficient as there is room for big chips to break out and clear. With a really narrow cut, many of the blows will end up glancing off of the inside of the kerf, wasting your energy without having cut anything.
