What is the Bottle Opener Really For?

Of course knives and booze do not mix!!!

You use the knife to mix/stir your booze!

imo, small fixed blade's gotta have a bottle opener... party knife! if they get nervous over a bk11, will they get nervous if i flex or stand up? seriously lol... people need to understand its not the tool, its the man.

but they don't. knives and booze don't mix if you're black out and stupid. i don't see why you couldn't social drink, cut some limes and just have a good time... i love me some beer and whittling stick

I'm of the opinion that getting drunk isn't a good thing under any circumstances.
And i wouldn't handle firearms and drink at all.

But, if you can't handle a beer or two and a pocket knife at the same time you probably shouldn't be handling either one alone.

It means you could use it to cut (actually break) fence wire, tie wire, or any thick'ish cable. You simply stick the wire in the "wire breaking" notch and bend it back and forth a couple times, and the wire will break.

Thanks BryFry for the education.

I just use the bottle opening feature of the Izula ...
(of course that is not ideal for the coating to stay intact, but if you're taking off some of the coating in order to strike a firesteel with that part instead of the cutting edge, you're just fine)
