What is the cheapest knife you will carry?

I carry an A.G. Russell Ultimate Penknife on my keyring, but I don't really count that.
In my pocket it will be a Spyderco-cheapest in the current rotation is probably a Calypso Jr.

Like another poster, my choice is the KBar Dozier. Although I have three different models of this knife, my pick is the one with the hole in the blade. Lotta knife for the buck, adjustable blade tension, surprisingly good steel. I've seen them for 20 bucks most places, and as low as $16.88.

I wouldn't think cheap so much as least expensive, perhaps? Mine would be either a SAK Traveller that I got at Can. Tire for $14.99 CDN or my Ka-Bar/Dozier (about $40.00 CDN). Those are with me pretty well all the time. I also carry "others" depending on what I'm anticipating for the day.

I just got a new Boker Magnum Linerlock with Grey Anodized Aluminum Wave Design Handle (RY 180) from SMKW for less than $10 and I am surprised at how well it is made and sharp out-of-the-box this knife is (already cut myself once).

I currently EDC a Gerber Paraframe I that I got for under $20 that was my "cheap" knife but I am thinking about EDCing this new Magnum. It feels great in my hand and cuts very well from what I can tell so far.

Anyone have any experience with the Magnum brand? What should I expect from these knives?

Despite your positive experience, they're usually POS with butter-soft steel and unsafe locks. Personally I stay away from Böker's Magnum line.

Opinels ( in the picnic kit , and the smaller lowerend Victorinox folders .

I used to carry a $7.50 Victorinox Recruit (I bought several when target had a sale) until I replaced it with an $18.00 Huntsman.

we keep douk douks all around our house and in cars. i grab one whenever i don't want to risk losing something of value (monetary or sentimental).

The cheapest knife and only knife that I have been carrying is my Benchmade 943. I would consider carrying something cheaper but I don't want to.

I carry a Victorinox Bantam (Waiter minus the corkscrew) and I think I paid $5 for it. Best 5 bucks I ever spent.

Someone mentioned the Outdoor Edge Wedge II, I love this knife. This is one of the few fixed blades I own that will make it into my EDC rotation, and it cuts like a razor.
