What is the "defining knife" from each production manufacturer?

Not only defining the company, changing the knife world:
Gerber MkII
Cold Steel (original) tanto
AlMar SERE
Buck 110
& whatever the first successful Spyderco (with the hole) was....

Well, for Chris Reeve, it's clearly the Sebenza. I concur with Mr. Gardener that the quintessential Microtech is the HALO, their original OTF and the most widely owned and known MT. For MOD, id say the auto Ladyhawk, simply because its the one that first comes to mind when i hear the name MOD. And thats all i can think of right now, now i have to go and bid on some late 60's original vintage Hot Wheel Redlines that i have my eye on. :)

I agree with some, but not all of the posts here. My list would look like this:

Al Mar - SERE 2000
Buck - 110
Benchmade - 710
Busse - Basic series
CRK - Sebenza
Camillus - EDC
Emerson - Commander
Fallkniven - F1
Leatherman - Wave
REKAT - Sifu
Spyderco - Delica
SOG - Tomcat
Victorinox - Champ

Let's see, who have I missed ...?

Although most here said that the Emerson Commander is the defining knife for Emerson, I am inclined to think that the CQC7B is it. I know it doesn't have the wave... but, was there really such a thing as a quality production tactical folding knife before Emerson licensed the CQC7 to Benchmade?

Just my $0.02
