These are two blade knives, but you'll get a size comparison. I don't care for spear points myself, and given the choice of either, I'd go with the 42. I like the larger knife, and prefer a two-blade over the single blade. The small one is dandy too though. And, well, I also have single blade 72's and those are nice as well. I say buy one of each. At least. Sigh...
