What production or mid tech knife is consistently sold fastest on the exchange?

Several suggestions:

TC Barlow
Miscrotech OTF
PM2

I see the traditional slipjoints selling faster on that forum as a whole quicker than the production , automatics and Christ reeve forum exchanges.

What say you?.. what knife sits the shortest amount of time before somebody snaps it up?

PM2 sprints and BM 940 are usually grabbed very quickly.

Ritter grips with or without aftermarket scales, Benchmade 940 variants and the increasingly rare Bradley Alias any model.

Be seeing you, Arick

CRK Mnandi's.

Ohh yes, I noticed the Mnandi's sell real quick.

PM 2's sell real well but some still sit unless somebody asks about $10 to $20 below second hand market value.

I am asking about those knives which get posted and seem to sell in record time.

I've been lucky enough to be fastest on a few sales threads. With around 400 transactions on BF (buy, sale, trade) I've seen a lot! When I visited the traditional world it blew me away how fast those guys were! If I had to choose just 1 model I'd say the GEC TC.

I would also say GEC TC and Mnandi. For customs, probably something from Tom Krein.

The TC market has slowed a little it seems but wait till that next run of clip points come out.

Recently, without a doubt, the fastest selling knives have been the Nate Carothers Delta 3V knives. When he lists 10 knives for sale at 3:00pm on a Friday, there's 30 posts all with the 3:00pm timestamp, with many to follow, trying to claim 1. Talk about having to plan ahead to even have a glimmer of hope to get one.

I have sen a lot of the traditional onessell fast, GEC and Queen, etc., for custom fixed blades (my favorites) I see
Fiddlebacks going fast.

Northwoods Hawthorne Clip
followed by
GEC #48 single clip blade trapper

Same frame, one was produced by GEC for knivesshipfree (Northwoods brand).
If you find a user under $200 it won't last long.

And we have a winner!

I see PM2's fly when listed at reasonable prices, sprints/exclusives or not, abused or new.

Absolutely.

It seems They are sold before they get posted.

That section of the exchange is the only one that hasn't slowed done at all....

I'd say that's a bit different. CPK sells his knives with a pre determined sales time shared with all members of Blade forums. If Charlie Campagna was doing that with the TC it would be exactly the same feeding friendzy!!!

On another note I've been lucky enough to score every current model of Carothers knives and I'm still blown away every time I grab one!

^ There were no limits or restrictions on the question posed, just simply phrased "on the exchange", so I didn't put limits on my answer.

As Craytab said, it's a hard question to come to any definitive answer on as there's plenty of correct answers. Any knife that is in demand and priced right, doesn't sit for long, no matter what part of the exchange it's listed in.

As a whole, those CPK knives really don't have any competition for selling any faster. Gotta be the new Delta 3V variants though. The previous "normal" 3V knives will sit longer when I see them listed by an individual.
