What is the hoopla about Hinderer?

If you spend on one knife what you could have used to purchase two,
you still have one really good knife (talking Hinderer here).

I can only use one at at time,
they hold their street value,
so I don't see what the big deal is.

I just have one less knife than I otherwise might
(well maybe two), point being, no reason to feel
that such a knife is necessarily unreasonable at
the price it fetches, or always out of reach.

It all depends what kind of knife you want to have.

Bringing up multiple knives was merely to point out that the hinderer, while made out of quality materials and a great design, it is not the end all be all for knives. While yes you can only use one knife at a time, you CAN have two knives with you and better cover tasks that the hinderer may otherwise have a hard time accomplishing. It is strictly an argument over function for a given price point. I am a user of knives and have no desire to amass knives to collect and have no need to concern myself over resale value. To be honest, most quality knives hold their value. They're not like cars where they depreciate once you take them off the lot.
