Ps please fell free NOT to coment on my spelling .

Knives, not so much. There are a few $5000 yanagi's I can't afford, but will eventually.

Most of my 'dream' blades are historic pieces already owned and most likely never for sale.

I really, really want one of the Becker protos for the "Extra large 13/Remora". Only about 4-5 were ever made!

I'ts the top knife in the above photo, stolen from Warrior.

Nalon, I've seen something like that... I'll try to dig it up, but I remember seeing a link posted here to a Youtube review of cheapo chinese knife of very similar, if not the same, design.

Definitely hinderer knives. I didn't know about them when I was on active duty, and I can't afford them on the secondary market. I was able to get my TGLB comp finish since Busse has a 3 pay plan so I am very thankful for that.

Although I can afford it, I just can't bring myself to spend what it costs for a Tony Bose knife...yet.

My issue is that I like to carry and use knives I love, and the first time I blemish a 2-3 k knife would make me cringe a little.

I've always wanted a Busse ASH 1 ever since I discovered Busse knives .

The .312" blade thickness , handle style and overall shape just look so good to me .
But they ARE sort of impractical and pretty pricy , so I don't see one being mine any time soon :(

I understand that completely... that's why I'm currently carrying a Grip :)

I do have a thing for classier looking folders though. I don't even need a 2-3K knife to make me happy but it seems like the ones that I really like start around $150-200 and go up from there, and that's just too much money to rub up against a money clip and change and such like every day for years. If I become independently wealthy the two knives I'd probably buy aren't even that extravagant; I've been eyeing the BM 940 and the Wilson Combat ELC with the wood scales. Is either really that much of a step up from a Grip? Probably not for EDC letter fighting, but they sure do look nice. And I'd probably get some micarta scales for the Grip to class it up a little. Finally, I'd probably have to buy a Sebenza just on principle to see what all the fuss is about.

Busse Battle Mistress. Me not getting one is a combination of price and the odd hoops one has to jump through to acquire one.
I think if the purchasing process was more normal i think i could eventually scrounge together the funds.
Also other unobtainable knives would be various Bali knives, i'm in Canada where they aren't legal.
