(Not necessary the prettiest or most expensive.)

for me, I still cant put my White Endura down.

I stole this picture

Kershaw Bumps.......All of them. Nice knives, the stud lock is great, recurves are fun and there is quite a variety.......... I have owned over 40. I currently have about 25.

I have many favorites, but in terms of owning multiple variations of the same knife , I 'd have to say it's the Buck 110. I have about 5 of them.

All of them :) Seriously, I am a fan of craftsmanship more so than brand loyalty- you might say I'm addicted to quality.

For me, it was all downhill after I got bit by the Randall bug. Sorry, I know you said "pretty" and "expensive" shouldn't be the criteria, and they're both, but that's the way it is.

As I am new to knives, what is the first mod. that spyderco came out with. From years back, I remember a knife with serrated blade and stainless handle. Would like to locate one for engraving project. Ken

Seems to be whatever I get next... My Mnandi is juts pure candy. I HAVE bought knives that just don't push a previous EDC outta my hand, but The Mnandi is incredible... My Millitary and Paramilitary would come next, all knives I've owned considered...

If I find a LITTLE thing I don't like about a design, it can really funk up my appreciation and lose its rotation... like the Spyderco UKPK.... I would have put it right after the Mnandi if the tip of the blade sat farther in the handle when closed... Otherwise I would consider the knife perfect... I may pick up another one to see if I can get over it though... the thing is so simple and elegant.

That white Endura sure is a pretty one:) My wife got me one for Christmas. Personally, the most addicting knife to me is the Khukuri. I have tons of them.

As far as production blades SAKs and Bucks seem to be getting my dollars as of late.

Rough Rider slipjoints. You'll buy the first one out of curiosity to see just how good a $10 Chinese made knife can be. Then you'll keep coming back for more. :o

thats the smartest reply yet

get whatever gives you the most pleasure

it's YOUR money. YOUR knife .

Buck 110. I don't carry one because they're so heavy, but I think it's the best design ever.

I'm up to seven of them now, all from various times and several different steels.

I have a Camillius tactical dagger that was just magic from the the very beginning, then a series of balis ending with my Kimura then a SOG tac auto. I have both a Kershaw speedbump and Junkyard Dog II composite on the way so we'll see what happens.
