What is the most ADDICTIVE knife?

Which ever one I happen to have in my pocket at the time. I have a bad happen of flipping them open and closed as I drive.

Buck 110. I don't carry one because they're so heavy, but I think it's the best design ever.

Another Buck 110 addict here. When I first picked one up, on the instant we bonded :). I find it not too heavy to carry sheathed on my belt and appreciate the heft when using it. Don't know if it is the best design ever, but it's my pick when heavy cutting is expected.

For me it's gotta be the Kershaw Tan G-10 Tyrade b/c I've checked at least once a day since May 5th to see if it has shipped!

Anybody got any inside info?

Sincerely,

"Jonesing in South Cackalacky"

I don't mind the weight if carrying it on my belt, but I really don't like stuff hanging off my belt.

I did EDC it for about a month and a half when I started college, in the sheath on my belt, but it just got too heavy to wander around campus all the time with it, so I switched to a clipped folder. That was ten years ago and I haven't carried a 110 since... I keep buying them though.

I must say I love the spydie hole and ergos of spydercos, but my I can't stop playing with my Mini-grip!

And my Mora clipper, love that thing. And my SAK farmer. And my barkies, wish I had more money for em....

Hell, I'm addicted to any sharp thing I own.

But if I had to pick one, right now it'd be the Mini-grip.

My addiction to the various Spydies in my collection got me a long and deep bleeder last night :( ... first "real" cut in years. I had just finished putting a hair-popping edge on that millie....

The old SchradeUSA Old Timer series, preferably in 1095. My first one was a 7OT back in the 90's, then various other patterns since; the combination of good steel & brown delrin gives them a heft that's very comforting. To some folks, they definitely have an 'economy' look, but to me they're the last word in good, quality usefulness.

thx - cpr

For me it is Buck 110 and 112 knives. I like the heft and the use of natural materials for the inserts, as well as the brass bolsters.

For me it'd have to be the BM 710.

I have one each in D2, 154CM and M4. I'm looking for an M2 version, and I fear what I'd be willing to pay for one.

LOL! Well, for knocking around where there is seldom need for anything more substantial, I carry a Delica. The Buck gets strapped on for work or the boonies. Beside the previous mentioned, I have an Endura and that's the lot. Others came and went, but these satisfy all my folding knife needs. From what I can gather, that makes me the strange guy in this forum.

I really like assisted opening knives. I might not carry one everyday, but I find myself opening and closing one a lot while watching tv or on the computer

(Not necessary the prettiest or most expensive.)

There's your problem. You got the cocaine white model.

All of them, but mostly the one in my pocket that day.

Right now its is the newly received BM Skirmish 630 - having a lot of fun with the pocket sword.
