What is the one "must have" knife?

Don't know if it counts, but my vote is any medium size multitool with an externally accessible blade.
The extra weight is worth it for the extra functions, and it is completely non-knife-person friendly:

I once tried to spread peanut butter with a folder. The peanut butter got into the pivot, and I had to clean it out. It was a complete waste of peanut butter :grumpy:

-Sak, pick your flavor
-smf/sng in your flavor
-and a spyderco of your flavor with a hole lol

too much opinion involved at the end of the day. its like asking whats the one food everyone needs to love? cant answer because its opinion based. thats my favorite part about knives
