I forgot how to tie this simple knot...
It was a very simple knot to get a closed loop
The nice thing is that the knot was symmetrical
Can you guys help me out with a picture and instructions?

my Prybaby came with a knot like this

of course i untied it and have no idea what it was

frustrating!
I recall seeing it here on bladeforums, but cant find the post...:grumpy:

Try this one. I've skipped the first pic because it just shows the one cord above the other but its easy enough to pick up from step two on.

and finally to the end pic. I've skipped a few inbetween pics here also.

I like your upgrade of the uk penknive STR Nice Job!!!
I'm eagerly waiting the new spydie caly 3 coming out

No pics, but the simplest knot to use would be to thread the cord, pull both ends even, then tie both strands like they were one piece you wanted to put a knot in. Think about the simple knot on some gym shorts strings, -like that, but with both ends together. -Don't know if that was explained well, or if it's what you want.

You got it! I guess I described my question not well by using the word lanyard, not sure.

So that the knot I'm looking for BUT there was a simple variation on that one, that will leave a symmetrical knot.....

Got some rope here and tried a monkey fist, it turned out looking like a turt...:grumpy:

I have done it two ways, but the way I like doing it best is to melt the ends after cutting the excess off just short. If done right it kind of blends in and melts itself to the other pieces but not so bad that it can't be untied for later in the event that you need it. To me the melt is faster to get it untied than fooling with a knot. Most times that you need cord are in a pinch when the last thing you want to do is fiddle with a knot that has now come undone the wrong way and made itself worse so I most always melt now.

Thanks for the compliments. That UKPknife belongs to a forum member. You can see it up close here if you are interested. http://spyderco.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23599
