What is the story with the "new" Tanker Gray on the NMFSH's???

I got my new nmfsh today and after talking with you earlier got out my old tg, tglb and the nmfsh and took a pic together. Probably would get a better pic in the sun I'll try that tomorrow.

in person all 3 colors are very close with more wear and smoothing on the old tg.
