What is the ugliest folder you've seen and why

There's a long list of ugly folders, so here's one that I own: Kershaw Needs Work

Why is ugly? The blade & scales. Enough said :D

But I love the knife, Great user!

The one that someone is unwilling to use for fear of diminishing its "value".

+1! I had one for awhile, loved using it, couldn't stand to look at it! haha

cold steel have a talent for adding UGLY to the knives they are copying from other makers .

Spyderco knives are pretty ugly. One of the best and worst parts of a Spyderco is the hole. Having that hole usually results in a hump on the blade. When there isn't a hump the blade then has to have more height. I think a good example of what could have been a very nice looking knife is the Spyderco Vallotton.

That being said I'm still going to get one... probably.

Anything made by mtech

here's a good one

I actually think that's pretty interesting. Heh, is that a copy of a real knife, or did Mtech invent something for once? I mean the camo's ugly but the blades/handle are kind of neat.

Alright, my earlier suggestion of Mantis was the easy/obvious answer. But among knives that are actually made by respectable manufacturers, the Spyderco Khalsa has to be in the running:

(Disclaimer: I'm about as far from the "all Spydercos are ugly" camp as a person can get. But the Khalsa, whatever its functional merits, is just one ugly knife.)
