What is the ugliest folder you've seen and why

spydercos are my favorite knives,, but +1 on anything that spyderco puts a wave feature on

I dont know the model but i always thought one of the extrema ratio folders with a big thick wide handle and a thick skinny(width wise) black tanto blade was pretty fugly.

Edit: it was the Fulcrum II http://www.knifecenter.com/item/EX136FFIIT/extrema-ratio-fulcrum-ii-tanto-combo , and come to think of it all extrema ratios are rather ugly

Any Cold Steel folder, except for the Ti-Lite. That one's okay, but the quillions need to be reversed and the holes in the scales need to get lost. They're annoying, they collect dust, and they take forever to clean.

Ugliest folder i've seen in a while is the Spyderco Balance. I love Spyderco and also like alot of Ed Schempp's designs but I don't know what he was thinking with that one. Its equally unattractive in the open AND closed position.

Alright, my earlier suggestion of Mantis was the easy/obvious answer. But among knives that are actually made by respectable manufacturers, the Spyderco Khalsa has to be in the running:

(Disclaimer: I'm about as far from the "all Spydercos are ugly" camp as a person can get. But the Khalsa, whatever its functional merits, is just one ugly knife.)

Spyderco has a knack for pushing the envelope of ugliness. I also own and love a few select Spydies but that one (Khalsa) is one of their newer and ugliest knives. :barf:
