For me the "wow factor" is that there is no wow with the knives, Until you use them. Then you realize that all the design features, handle ergonomics, the choice of steel, and the price point all add up to a very nice knife that isn't trying to be something it is not. An overhyped P.O.S. For that I thank you Ethan, your knives are just my style.
Then you hang out here. You see Mr. Becker answering questions and thanking people for buying his knives. Every word seems genuine and from the heart. Any issues with his products he bends over backwards to make the customer happy. He also has annual gatherings at his house and from what I have seen on here is a very generous man. It makes it easy to use and recommend his designs.
All of the generosity spreads to other members of this forum. People freely give advice and lend a hand to help this community grow.
With the "Nose to the grindstone" attitude of his designs and the man himself as well as the attitude he promotes on, here how could you not be supportive of this company?
