what is *this* killer INFI?

It looks like a SK handle with a cut down shorter blade, it also looks similar to a SHBA handle, but the blade is longer. Now, all original SKs were made from A2, this custom shop knife has tube fasteners which is used on INFI knives. So the question is, is the knife made from an old A2 SK blank or are they taking old patterns and making new knives from INFI?

.

There have been several SK at recent shows, I assume they are INFI. Answers your question, doesn't it?

Well, no. The ones recently for sale that I have seen have moasic pins in the handle, which doesn't really say anything about what the blade material is (the original SKs had solid fasteners). Also, the ones at the recent shows are full length, which means they could have been made from old A2 blanks. You know what they say when you "Assume"!!!
