I've been searching and searching and I've had no luck!!! I love the way this little knife looks and I've been wondering what its called. It comes out in the show The Walking Dead, and I've been curious to know what this knife is called so I can buy it. I've ran into similar ones but not this exact one. If someone can help me out that would make my day. Thank you!!!

Not a brand I've seen before. Sorry, seems like it could just be a generic no-name.

All I know is that its a drop point knife if I'm not mistaken, but I can't find anything with that type of finger guard on a knife that small...

A prop master/scenic artist made knife. The folly artist probably had fun making the noise of it coming out of the sheaf and killing the non existing zombie.

OP, what are you looking to do with the knife? You might be benefited more if you ask for a knife that will suit your intended purpose.

Weapons on the show are based on actual weapons, just not all of them are listed on the website. Do your research then post. I'm a collector of weapons from shows and games. I also have a collection of personal choice weapons. No need for stupid replies.

Wow, tough guy alert.

Although not visually similar, this is a great knife that is a smaller fixed blade and has a quasi-finger guard (Spyderco Street Beat):

I know on TWD, they use real weapons for actors 14-15+ years old. I don't know if this applies to knives or just guns, but usually they do base it off a real design, and TWD does use some familiar companies, Like Gerber, Benchmade, Busse, etc. So it very well could be a real design just 'propped' to be safe for a child actor.

Don't know about the walking dead one but I EDC this one ever since I saw it in the movie.......great slicer....but the spikes have since rusted and I keep getting strange looks when cutting up my steak at Applebees.

I don't know anything about how or why Hollywood modifies real models the way they do, but I don't understand the benefit of changing the entire appearance of a knife if the concern is safety. Dulling the blade doesn't require grinding the blade shape into something unrecognizable, grinding off part of a guard, or unnecessarily wrapping a handle.

They make rubber props for safety, every weapon they get, they make a mold of it, make it rubber, paint it. This way its safe for actors to run with, fall down hills, etc.

I'm really amused by how many people want knives because they see them on some show.

He asked a question about a knife. It's a regular occurrence here, people asking about knives they've seen in movies.

Commenting about the psychology of the question is tantamount to trolling, which frankly you do too often. The original poster is new here and your response is rudely unwelcoming. Show a little class.

What's tucked in his belt, a matched pair knife by any chance? Whatever's in his belt has a bit of writing on the butt end. "Z/ct 2" ??
