What is this knife called??? Please help!

I believe it is a she and it is the handle of a gun. That had to be one of the most traumatic episodes yet if that is the seen I am thinking of.

I am not sure. I do know Daryl uses a Busse Knife and Gerber knives are all over the place in it. The very first season there was a Spyderco Endura.

Don't know about the walking dead one but I EDC this one ever since I saw it in the movie.......great slicer....but the spikes have since rusted and I keep getting strange looks when cutting up my steak at Applebees.

Damn you, Pablo! That got me real good :p

And I know more than a few people who see something they like in a movie and want to get it right after, whether it's weapons/cars/clothes/etc. Nothing wrong with that.

I mean come on, when I would watch Sons of Anarchy they would do advertisements for character outfits during commercial breaks.

What's tucked in his belt, a matched pair knife by any chance? Whatever's in his belt has a bit of writing on the butt end. "Z/ct 2" ??

Looks like the butt end of a Walther pistol. Possibly a P22.

Whatever the knife is, it has been modified. Looks like the guard has been lengthened and the handle has grip tape or cloth of some type on it.

Weapons on the show are based on actual weapons, just not all of them are listed on the website. Do your research then post. I'm a collector of weapons from shows and games. I also have a collection of personal choice weapons. No need for stupid replies.

If you are an expert, AND collector, AND we are stupid...then what are you asking us for?

Its a prop. And is based on no specific knife that that I have seen. I would say someone asked for "a knife." And they built one.

The guard piece is unusual. Usually, the taper extends away from the blade rather than around the tang. Probably just a prop, although they may have started with a knife like this one:

It's pretty widely known here that the show uses some real brands. It certainly doesn't follow that all their knives are based on real models.

I'm really amused by how many people want knives because they see them on some show.

Yeah, that's literally the only thing this guys knows about the knife (that he saw it on a TV show), and he's all ready to plunk down his money...

One of the most heavily featured knives in that show is a Busse (Team Gemini?), a fantastic knife that most here would consider a luxury to own. Quit being a douche.

@ OP If it turns out that knife is a prop, and you REALLY want that knife, you can drop some change and find a custom maker to replicate that design. (There may be one or two makers who use the forum to sell their wares who would be willing to, I have only "commissioned" knives based off of previous work that appealed to me)

The closest knife I could find quickly was this one, but at a guess I would probably assume that the knife was a custom. It looks a lot like a lot of older hunting knives, especially with the long bent hilt, but that blade looks almost like a semi-nessmuk.

A prop master/scenic artist made knife. The folly artist probably had fun making the noise of it coming out of the sheaf and killing the non existing zombie.

Knives actually can make a similar noise to the one Foley artists often create, if Brass or other metal lining was used in the sheath. Of course most sheaths these days don't have it, and it's super unlikely any sheaths on any of today's shows have it... But technically such a noise is possible.

Also, I don't think it's so bad if the guy wants to buy knives/tools that he saw in his favorite TV shows. We talk about the knives we see in TV and movies quite a lot here... nothing wrong with it. I love figuring out what knife I just saw. I'm almost certainly not going to buy it, on a lark, just from seeing it, but there's nothing wrong with that if he wants to do it. I almost bought a replica of Aragorn's Elvish knife but, I didn't want to buy prop cutlery that would be a wall hanging. Cool-looking knife, but I decided decorative knives weren't for me.

Buck Redhead Skinner.
Lizzie killed Mika, The Grove.
I'll need to see it again but it was covered and hard to see the handle but it had a guard like this Buck knife that Bass Pro sells, they come in stag, wood and G10.

Not a big pic since it's from my cell phone but looking at it, it looks very similar to the Buck made Redhead Skinner.
What do you guys think?

Hey, BladeSurvivor. It's a good question. It's supposed to be one of the reasons we're here. And if people here cant I.D. it, it just isn't there.

Anyone else see the bend in the spine of that knife...just about where the light patch in the background is? And an irregularity where the blade belly starts coming up? I take it that thing on the tip is supposed to be a drop of blood. The more I look at that it looks like it's cut out of cardboard or 'cartoonish'.

50/50 that blade is supered in---maybe the guard too.

OK, flay me.
