What is this?

It's obviously an etching unit, but can anyone provide insight onto the stuff thats in the box with it?

Also has a thick stack of blue paper, stencil paper?

I had an Etch o matic that came with a couple of typewriter type stencils that were a similar blue paper.

Your photos show a "ground ing plate" for the workpiece and a pair of handpieces.

The blue paper is indeed stencil paper. We still use that kind at work. We have an old Epson dot matrix printer that we use to print those stencil with.

I'm gonna guess that electrolyte is probably way past it's shelf life. Very cool find.

That is such a cool old school etcher, Sam!! It should have been featured on an episode of the Flinstones! You find some of the coolest stuff.
