what is this?

You guys are all wrong...

It's a Damascus-Rastafrei knife. A proprietary steel from Jamaica with magical properties.
Forged in limited quantities , it is not bendable ,cuts through any substance , has a Rockwell higher than diamond and exhibits only one flaw...it rusts when exposed to bullsh*t. :D:thumbup:

What are you talking about? I don't see what you're...

Hang on a sec.

Would it be a bad thing if I said:
Im 43 years old, semi retired professional.....

and I know that is a pic of a Blue dot brand 5mm thick beaker bong with 18mm joints, made from Borosilicate glass, in China, and distributed by Blue Dot, which is a company out of Arizona.

:D

I used to be involved in an industry that sold Borosilicate glass and equipment to lampworkers/glassblowers, so I actually know the company that makes those.

( BTW, Knowing the glassblowing process REALLY helps me understand the heat treating/tempering process used in knifemaking.)

Not sure about Damascus mines, but that sheath is rare.
It's 100% Naugahyde.
Naugas are extinct now.

No wonder they are extinct....
Do you know how many little Naugas it takes to cover a sofa?

Better hang onto that sheath.
Even has the obligatory "US State" snap head.

I have heard somewhere about Naugas. I guess they are also called The Turkish Delight... I wander why. Any ideas?

P.S. A few people had doubts about Damascus ore. And nobody has questioned the slave labor part. Hm... Could that be true then?

Oleg Krymlin, a custom knifemaker who is a member here, works with wootz damascus from Ivan Kirpichev. It's pretty pricey stuff, but he has a video on his site that shows Mr. Kirpichev hammering a wootz blade onto the edge of another knife in a vise and cutting out pieces of it, while the edge of the wootz blade looks to be intact afterwards.
I hope this is ok to share:

The extinction of the Nauga is one of those internet myths that just won't die. Not sure why, its really not that funny.

Naugas are not extinct.

Strangely, the best breading grounds for Nauga are located on or near deposits of Damascus.

No one is really sure what the relationship is, or why they breed so well there.

The facts of where they flourish may offer a clue.

Man, straight guys like me don't understand the "bong" thing. I live in the Kootenays, south central B.C., and nobody here knows anything about B.C. Bud.
