What is/will be your last purchase this year?

Don't know for sure I picked up a rant a few weeks ago and have a couple of moras on order. I found out today a busy of mine is now a benchmade dealer and will let me busy at cost. Cost is 1/2 of the msrp. Oh no my poor wallet.

Since the 0561s aren't going to hit the streets until Jan., I guess it's going to be a 0550 or Yojimbo 2.

BG42 blade, Ti bolsters and GCM scales. I do wish they simplify the logo - the ARS in the center would suffice. The fully spelled out words could be moved to the other side of the blade or the pocketclip.

You live in AL? I know the guy who makes those. :)

In fact, depending on when you bought that, I may have touched up the edge on your knife.

I'm in California. Dealer shipped out November 22nd if I remember. Great little knife and the first custom folder in BG42 I've ever owned.

Ever since I saw the Mercworx folders, then learned they were still made by ARS/Alex Shunnarah, I'd been on the lookout for one of those.

Just received my Sebenza Large 21 tanto. Not quite sure if this will be the last before the year is over :)

Haha I may have actually touched that edge up. I remember Alex handing me that knife (possibly not that exact one) and asking me to touch up the edge using my double stuff stone. Who knows. It's a cool knife though. :)

If it's any help, the tang has #43 stamped in it. Pretty neat way of keeping the blade free of billboard numbers. Though for a minor aesthetic suggestion, I'd say he could try shrinking the size of the ARS logo by 10%, or leaving just the ARS letter triangle on there and transferring the words to the clip. Nothing major though, no matter what it's my new EDC.

Most likely, here's mine. The Emerson Horseman, PE with the black coating. It's in the mail and on it's way:

I'm thinking about either a medium or XL Cold Steel 2011 Voyager (already have the large). And I could use an Emerson A-100. A Case Pen knife in CV would be cool . . . . Mostly I am looking forward to the Leatherman Rebar multitool, which likely won't be emancipated until next year.

2011 Cold Steel large Voyager, top.

My XL Voyager came in today, and it definately is what it is. It's also surprisingly light. I'd like to get the large next for practical use. If the Becker 16's aren't in for a while I'll grab the large Voyager and who knows, maybe an orange Endura ? Easy to sharpen and I love how they slice.

Probably the Benchmade 940 I just scored. Unless I can find a plain edged Bardley Alias 2 in stock somewhere.

What will be my first purchase next year??????

Boker 182 camp knife with stag bone handles to cap off my camp pattern buying spree :D

Will have to wait until 12/31/2011 to tell that!

May not have to wait as I just spoke for a Pat & Wes Crawford Kasper folder, one of my favorite style of folder's, and this one has the flipper, licensed Spydie hole, and thick build (linerlock), just how I love 'em!! So hopefully this will be the last for 2011!

I need to amend my earlier answer. The SP50 is a joy to use, backyard common area is now clear of trees and brush.
I just ordered a Bark River 'Little Caper'. It's a 3 finger trailing point. It'll be my first knife in both categories.

Either the Hinderer XM-24 and ZT 0560 if they're ready in time - both slated for late December. :D
