I, like most people, prefer to take a system of knives that compliment each other in the woods, rather than a single knife.

At this moment, my favorite combo to take out in the woods is my Manix 2 LW S110V, and my Morakniv hatchet.

As we all know, the Manix is a Slicey BEAST. The Ball-Bearing lock is extremely strong. The edge profile is well suited to fine tasks.

The Mora hatchet is a chopping machine. The boron steel is so so so tough.

This combo is VERY lightweight, and does everything I need it to do in the bush.

Your turn!

Silky pocket boy and a sak electrician seem to be what I've settled on. The saw is mostly just for emergencies and gets left at home in summer. The sak is my edc.

To those I'll add a small or light fixed blade. Mora usually but I got a new bk11 I wanna try out. :D

Sorry, no pics.

My most carried woods combo is a SAK and a Kabar Becker BK-15. Sometimes add a folding saw or short machete depending on the situation.

This one's bumming around in the woods
And this one if I'm hunting

Recycled pictures, I don't even own the m6 scout anymore.

Silky Gomboy saw, BK9, BK16, and SAK Trekker...

I could PROBABLY get by with any 2 of the above... but I'm a gear junkie LOL

Heavy leuku/small pukko ganged.....supplemented with a bolo and/or rigger's hatchet if necessary for some extended or heavy winter trips.

Always a SAK and small leuku access-packed. Grayman Dua or HEST 2.0 folder in pocket.

Variations where necessary.....
