What is your cheapest and your most expensive knives?

My cheapest knife is a stockman that I bought for $2. My most expensive is an Elishewitz custom that cost four figures. I rarely use either one. More often I carry knives in the $100 price category. They seem to be the best compromise in terms of quality and price for my particular taste. The knife I carry most often, in fact, is the Spyderco Delica which is about half that price.
 
Cheapest is an $8 Frost stockman

Most expensive is my Jeff Crowner Rupa Rupa $600 ish and worth every penny.

I doubt I will buy any more expensive than that, but will probably buy in the $300- $400 range from him and others

The cheapest I own was free, and it actually gets used - a Spyderco Bug that was being handed out for free at their booth at Blade last year.

The most expensive is a Busse Killa Zilla (~$700), and I'm trying to sell it because I have no use for a kukri that costs that much. I beat on it, sharpened it up (factory edge was terrible), and decided I will never carry it so it's nothing more than a toy. For $700, I can get some much more fun toys.
 
Cheapest is a $5 Chinese Winchester. Most expensive was my Buck Vantage Pro. I don't think I'll ever need a more expensive knife, but those nice slip joints are tempting. Especially the forum ones...
 
Cheapest for me would be a small Rough Rider lockback at $5. Most expensive I think is a tie between my Chris Reeve Shadow III and Al Mar Pathfinder at $175

The knife I use the most is tiny, cheap imported lock-back ...$1.00
 
cheapest = free Blackie Collins signed Meyerco from the Blade show
expensive = could be one of my Jim Burke folders or a Luciano Dorneles fighter i'm not sure

Opinel ~ $10, custom Elishewitz (damasteel/g10/micarta/blue carbon fiber w. Ti. hardware)- much much more.

They both get used as knives are meant to be.
