What is your Christmas to you?

No knives... just the comfort of still having a roof over my head, food in my gut, and smokes in my pocket... and living in (for now) the free-est country in the world.

Tim Galyean Pro Series Turbulence. Managed to pick up a brand new, unused one of another forum

Won't be hear in time for X'mas, but as long as it arrives before the new semester begins I'm happy.

For me, as someone posted, my wife has a hard time understanding what to buy me despite extensive efforts to inform her.

So i have already "gifted" to myself a Cold Steel American Lawman and a Kelly 1-Pint "Kelly Kettle". I will be adding a 15" Sawvivor or Sven Saw to the mix, but probably after Christmas when shipping is better.

I don't know what, if anything, will actually go under the tree. I think a few long-sleeve synthetic T-Shirts and some nice, comfy pajama pants.

I posted this in gadgets and gear last weekend but what the hell...

My in-laws asked me tonight if there was any tools I could think of that cost under $100... At first, I couldn't think of anything and told em not to get me anything and then I was like, wait up dude!

I was doing a search for custom handmade lighters, preferably running on Zippo fluid, and I found this...

Looks like the solid brass lighter will cost $95 as opposed to the aluminum version at $75. Still a helluva value for a custom torch. As for weight the all aluminum ones are around 75 grams. The ones with the brass bottom that he has on ebay are around 95g. The solid brass models are well over 100g. Diane's mom is getting me the solid brass version. A lighter like this should last several lifetimes! Mine will be deeply CNC engraved with FTW.

BTW, an average Zippo lighter weighs around 65 grams.

ALL good things to be grateful for!:D

As far as myself, it is a J W Smith SD-3 custom folder, and a Olight M20 R5 Warrior flashlight.

And due to a mixup a second custom folder!;):)

Spyderco Szabofly, Maglite 2AA LED flashlight, and I just got a Leatherman Super Tool 300 in the exchange.

Hopefully the Hog Muk. That would be nice.

More realistically, the S90V Para 2 (though that one was a bit early).

While perusing the mark down knives at my favorite local knife emporium last Saturday, my wife bought me the Boker Titan Worker I had looked at for over six months. She got a better deal than they offered me - a dollar or two over half MSRP!

Great ergonomics - smooth operation - secure Ti inner frame-lock (Too thick to be a 'liner'!). I thought the 440C was pedestrian - rather have N690BO. Not particularly sharp, but my Spydie Sharpmaker and some patience remedied that - a razor now.
