What is Your Dream Knife?

Already own multiples of mine, The Startac Umnumzaan from CRK/Wilsoncombat collab.

Not the most expensive but still my favorite regardless.

Unobtainable would be an authentic ancient tanto. (museum quality)

Virtually any knife by Ken Steigerwalt.

Start with a Rick Hinderer XM-18 3" Spanto Flipper, with the following modifications.

One piece blue ano Ti handle, like the Lionsteel Ti Spine.
Deep carry pocket clip attached with a glass breaking point, like the DPx HEST.
CPM-M4 blade steel at 62-64 HRC, stonewash finish.
Add a bit more 3D contour to the handle, and give it Wilson Combat's star-tac pattern.

:EDIT: And an antidote to keep me from dying of overexposure to sheer awesomeness.

Tanto Umnum....

I don't normally like tanto blades but i think the contoured spine gives it something extra.

For me it is The jake hoback warhorse. I first saw it on the forums here and it made not want another knife for a long time. And that's saying something. I'll most likely never get to own one.....But Iz still wantzit.

I can't afford it, but I have it anyway.

And dream knife that doesn't exist... Benchmade 960CFP but with a M390 blade and a pocket clip... I'd pay a lot of money for that.

I have to agree with several who have already posted.....Gareth Bull Shamwari! Been waiting on this one for some time, but it will be worth every minute of wait. I see a renewed or newly generated interest since my latest thread asking who all is awaiting this dream "grail" knife. Patience...

My knife that exist is any CRK. I'll probably end up owning them all eventually.

Knife that doesn't exits would be a spyderco lionspy fixed blade, made of A-2 tool steel, with a 4.5 inch blade and 4.25 inch handle with a hammer pommel. Full Tang and green micarta scales. Same blade thickness. I think I'd pay almost anything for that knife

The "exists, but cannot afford", is another Laconico, called the Jasmine, here in LSCF

I suppose the "will never exist" would be made out of the same kind of metal as that second Terminator robot, so that I could make it look however I wanted. Hinderer? Sure. William Henry for out to dinner? No problem. Small fixed blade? Gimme a moment.

And a way to track it if it gets lost or stolen...

Ray can do no bad you see he found a formula it's like this:

Ray+lighting strike cf+titanium=perfection:cool:

Yeah, but the intangible portion is the "Ray" part. We can't duplicate that.

Ray's work looks good even without the carbon fiber. Do an image search....

My perfect unobtainable knife is a chopper, A kukri built to similar spec to the Himalayan Imports CAK, but made of CPM-3V.

A plain small sebenza; college budget doesn't allow for it now but one day I will have one. Maybe a XM-18 3" or 3.5" after that.

Something Busse. Maybe one of their big, nearly traditional Khukuris.
Hinderer XM-18.
Large plain Sebenza.
Winkler Belt or Field knife.

Spyderco Sage TI plain edge. Not that expensive to most at $150 but for a 17 year old high school student that's a good chunk of change

My dream knives range a bit the 1st grayman satu, busse steel heart, and a case tested long pull 5375. I could not pick just one!
