What is your EDC Knife?

Traditional knives only for me. I only have four one hand opening clip knives left. A waved delica, Salt 1, Kershaw Groove, and spyderco Khukuri . Everything else is something traditional or SAK. I have been known to carry a fixed blade but only on occasions. They include Game Warden, SAR3, Swamp Warden, and an Izula. If I could afford one I would love a CG Boss Street or a Swamp Rat HC 4.0.

right now benchmade tanto, and izula.

until I get a nice leather pocket sheath for my SAR 3

I sold all of my folders in the last year or two and now await the LionSteel I ordered.

Once I have it in hand I'll give it a go and see if it's worth keeping/carrying (for me).

Right now I often carry the INFI Kiridashi that Ban made, as a last resort sort of thing.

Around horses I always carry fixed blades since you never know when you're going to have to cut a lead rope or a rein real fast. Since I don't have a real job,I EDC these a lot too if I'm not going to town but just to the feed store or like that. Cops around here don't really care-a BM may be out though-because all the horse people EDC fixed blades anyway and sometimes you just forget you have them. If I have to go to COSTCO or someplace in town I carry a folder. I have a friend who works at SOG and he has a lot of the old Seki,Japan blades that I really like;so I have a little SoG Blink folder and a Desert Storm Trident-not so old. Fixed blades are a SOG Recondo from '04 and a Jason Lim Scandi-a knifemaker from Socal.Have 2 coming:one from Ban and one from Ray Laconico so I'll be set for life.

Classic BM 710HS

A Busse .140 Game Warden and a SAK Huntsman in my pockets in the office and around town, with a Busse Cultellus and a Swiss Tool X-Box in my office bag, and an FBM in my car trunk.

On military flying duty days, my Busse Lep Active Duty and a SAK Farmer in my flight suit (Huntsman won't fit), with a Busse Cultellus and a Swiss Tool X-Box in my flight bag.

Camping or on the trail, a larger Busse SAR, and a SAK Huntsman on my belt/in my pocket, a Busse Cultellus in my cook kit, usually a Swiss Tool X-Box in my pack or bag, and occasionally a Koster Bushcraft just for fun stuff.

I change up every few weeks rotating through several knives.

Now through the end of the year will be an RJ Martin Overkill in S110V and a Queen Cutlery mini Trapper #51T. A few weeks ago, it was my Spyderco Gayle Bradley and my Tim Britton Baby Bullet in stag. With the new year, my Case Stockman and another as yet to be decided blade will get the pocket time for a few weeks. It might be time to break out the M4 Military. :D

I change up a bit too;

SAR 3 in a Buy Brown pocket sheath
Buy Brown Ti Bird
XM-24 (this one is seeing a bunch of pocket time :D )
Strider SMF
Severtech
or some kind of benchmade bali with a pocket clip.

:eek:

Turned out my pockets and this was what occupied them;

Spyderco Stretch ZDP-189
Kershaw JunkYard Dog with SG2 san mai blade
William Henry Tom Brown Quest with san mai blade and ZDP-189 core
Kershaw Double Cross with san mai Damascus blade and VG-10 core
Victorinox Pioneer Harvester and the ever present Executive :)

That makes for a bunch to carrry, if I were hard pressed to only grab
one and head out, it'd be that JunkYard Dog, just VERY handy knife!
